If you are an LSU employee on the flagship campus, you can make a one-time or recurring gift via payroll deduction.
An endowed fund is a perpetual source of support for a meaningful purpose. The principal is invested, and only a portion of the earnings is spent annually This is a great way to create a lasting legacy.
Enjoy tax benefits while supporting the College of Engineering. You may transfer shares of appreciated securities electronically to the LSU Foundation for the college's benefit.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact your human resources department or click here and search for your company’s name.
You can increase your LSU legacy by making a planned gift to the College of Engineering. The most common planned giving method is a bequest in a will. Other planned giving methods include charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, retirement assets, life insurance, real estate, and more.
The LSU Foundation
Philanthropic gifts to the College of Engineering are made through the LSU Foundation. The mission of the LSU Foundation is to cultivate and invest in philanthropic partnerships to advance LSU's academic priorities. The LSU Foundation encourages and receives philanthropic gifts and bequests, including both restricted and unrestricted gifts. The foundation also manages the investment of endowed funds and other private assets.
Gifts to the foundation add a margin of excellence over and above the appropriate level of state support and are not intended to replace state funds. Most important, behind every gift to the LSU Foundation is an individual or organization determined to advance the quality of education.
