LTC Joshua Trulock
Joshua Trulock assumed duties as the Professor of Military Science at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge on June 16, 2023. As the Professor of Military Science, LTC Trulock leads LSU’s mission to select, educate, train, and commission college students to be officers and leaders of character in the Total Army. LTC Trulock is a native of Clearwater, Florida, and he received a his Army commission in November 2006 through the Officer Candidate School at Fort Moore, GA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. He also holds two master's degrees: the first in Business and Organizational Leadership from Webster University and the second in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Navy War College. His military education includes the Military Police Officer Basic Course, Military Police Captain’s Career Course, and the U.S. Navy War College.
Master Sergeant Brian Moran
Master Sergeant Brian Moran is a native of Santa Monica, California, enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman on July 5, 2007. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in numerous leadership and operational roles, including Rifleman, Sniper Instructor, United States Army Sniper Course Instructor, First Sergeant, and Senior Military Science Instructor. His assignments have included service with the 75th Ranger Regiment, the United States Army Sniper Course, the United States Army Marksmanship Unit, the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, and multiple infantry units at Fort Benning, Fort Riley, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. MSG Moran has completed six combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and has also deployed to Bogotá, Colombia, in support of U.S. Army South. His professional military education includes Ranger School, Airborne School, Sniper Course, Battle Staff, the Special Operations Tactical Interdiction Course, and multiple Noncommissioned Officer leadership courses. His numerous awards and decorations include two Meritorious Service Medals, six Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement Medals, six Good Conduct Medals, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with three Bronze Stars, the NATO Medal, the Valorous Unit Award, the Ranger Tab, and the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Master Infantryman Badge. MSG Moran is married to Kelly Hatcher of Dunnellon, Florida, and they have two children, Margaret and James.
CPT Will Bloom
CPT Will Bloom is a native of Union, KY. He received his commission in May 2017, as Infantry Officer. CPT Bloom holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management from Xavier University. CPT Bloom is a graduate of Infantry Basic Officer Leaders Course, Maneuver Captains Career Course, Ranger School, Jumpmaster School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Army Reconnaissance Course, and Master Fitness Trainer Course. CPT Bloom has served in various leadership and staff positions throughout his 11-year career.
CPT Lucas McConaughey
CPT Lucas McConaughey assumed duties as the Assistant Professor of Military Science at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on January, 2026. As the Assistant Professor of Military Science, CPT McConaughey assists the PMS in training and commissioning quality officers, while also acting as the liaison to the Louisiana National Guard.
SFC Austin Pounds
Sergeant First Class Austin Poundsis a native of Galveston, Texas. He began his career by enlisting for Active Duty in January of 2012 and attending Infantry One-Site Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. SFC Pounds is currently working on a Bachelor’s of Science in International Relations. His military education includes Infantry One-Site Unit Training, Airborne School, Basic, Advanced, and Senior Leader Course, Special Forces Foreign Weapons School, Combat Advisor Training Course, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Non-Commissioned Officer Battle Staff, and Jumpmaster School.
SSG Demazhae Fullwood
Staff Sergeant Fullwood is a native of Anderson, South Carolina. He began his career by enlisting for Active Duty in July of 2015 and completing both Basic Combat Training And Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. SSG Fullwood is currently working on a Bachelor’s in History in the Building of the Roman Empire. His military education includes Master Fitness Training, Combat Life Saver, Basic and Advanced leaders course, and Operational Security School.
