Research Enabling Technology Services

Research Enabling Technology Services (RETS) advances research, education, and discovery through innovative computing, data infrastructure, technology services, and expertise. Through Research Computing and LONI, RETS supports the LSU research community and connects research and education organizations across Louisiana.

Research Computing provides advanced computing, data, and research technology services to LSU researchers, while LONI provides high-performance statewide network connectivity and related services to research and education organizations across Louisiana. Together, RETS and its organizations foster innovation, collaboration, and discovery in support of LSU and the state of Louisiana.

RETS offers a range of services and support to researchers:

• High Performance Computing: Services related to HPC Account Management, Troubleshooting, & Training.
• Research Data Services (offered in conjunction with LSU Libraries): Support for planning, storing, preserving, and accessing LSU research Data.
• Cloud Computing for Research: Support for planning and deploying resources in the cloud.
• Compliance Regulations for Research: Support for planning and deploying resources for research projects that have compliance requirements.
• AI Consulting: AI model guidance, deployment support, and compliance navigation for researchers.
• Research Technology Consulting: Guidance and support for researchers who need to optimize the use of IT technologies for their research.
