Health & Wellness
Your health is important. Maximize the services included in your student fees that are offered by the Student Health Center and the UREC. Learn more below.
Provides medical, mental health, and wellness resources to students. Some services are provided at no cost to full-time students, and you do not need to have LSU student health insurance to use the Student Health Center.
All full-time and part-time students registered for resident study, excluding Continuing Education participants, are eligible to purchase the plan for themselves and their dependents. For more information about health insurance plans, the enrollment process, or eligibility, please visit the Student Health Center.
This exceptional facility offers indoor and outdoor workout equipment along with group fitness classes, equipment rentals, and intramural sports.
Provides assistance to graduate students in need of food assistance at no cost. You can also bring donations of non-perishable goods.
An online reporting system to express concerns about student in crisis, sexual misconduct, hazing, discrimination, potential violations of the LSU Code of Student Conduct, and express complaints and grievances. The CARE approach includes communication, assessment, referrals, and education to offer a response.
Additionally, there are multiple crisis and assault resources available to the LSU community. A partial list is below:

Finances
LSU has ATMs in key locations on campus. In the Student Union you can access ATMs for:
- Chase Bank
- Capital One
- Regions Bank
- Red River Bank
This office specializes in student fee bills and billing statements. They assist students in understanding the fees that comprise their billing statement and guide them through their payment options.
Visit their convenient branch located right on campus in the Student Union.
Learn more about financial aid and scholarships via online or schedule an appointment with a graduate/professional counselor.
Used as your student ID. This card can be loaded with Tiger Cash and is used for printing as well as vending machines and dining areas throughout campus.
Allows you to print an enrollment certificate, a good student discount certificate (if your auto insurer or other providers offers such a discount), and view student loan deferment notifications.

Printing & Technology
Apple offers special pricing on the LSU Apple Academic Store Website, it is available to LSU Faculty, Staff, and Students.
Cox Communications offers LSU students the option for signing up. This program gives 28% off Cox internet services and a free professional installation. Note that you must reapply every 24 months to verify your continued enrollment as a student.
The Faculty Technology Center provides many resources for faculty and graduate teaching assistants geared toward incorporating technology into teaching, learning, and research. Software consulting and technical training services are also available.
Provides technology infrastructure and services that advance teaching and learning and enable resources. They also manage the GROK, a massive wiki of technology information.
Lynda Campus offers over 1,600 video-based online courses for software, design, and business skills training. New courses are added every week. Software titles include Adobe Creative Suite, Connect, Flash, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Windows, and Exchange, and numerous Apple software titles. There are courses in AutoCAD and Autodesk, courses in Google products (Docs, Gmail, Analytics, Sketchup) and many courses on using social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, Second Story. There are multiple printing options on campus:
- Print from a campus computer, laptop, or mobile device.
- Printing Services in the LSU Library, Patrick F. Taylor, and the Business Education Complex Rotunda.
- UPS Store in Student Union
Students are able to access software installed in the computer labs on campus using the Virtual Lab.
A wide variety of software is made available for students to download free of charge on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems through LSU Tigerware. There are also links to discounted software and hardware.
