Funding
All of our students are funded by faculty research grants and in rare cases, external fellowships. We do not have departmental funds to support graduate students. For this reason it is essential that you contact faculty who share your research interests and discuss whether they have funding and space to support your graduate training. Please do not submit an application without a faculty member commitment to support you. If faculty decide to support you, students typically receive a graduate research assistantship or a teaching assistantship that includes a stipend, a non-resident tuition fee waiver, and a tuition exemption. Students are responsible for paying the fees. There are a few supplemental scholarships and awards given to exceptional students.Relevant Links
