Students must meet the minimum Board of Regents (BOR) requirements for dual enrollment found in the Academic Affairs Policy 2.22.
Teachers must have the approval of their principal and complete the FREE mandatory training. There is no advanced degree requirement.
Each school (and/or district) must sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LSU that outlines the duties and responsibilities of each party.
Students will have until official roster verifications are due. This typically occurs 14 calendars days after the student registration deadline.
Accommodations are handled by the Choice classroom teacher in accordance with the IEP. The IEP paperwork should be kept at the school and does not need to be submitted to LSU. The most frequent accommodation made for students with disabilities is extended time allowances for tests. Anything besides a time extension should be discussed with the LSU Instructor of Record.
Students will have 10 days to choose to accept LSU credit once Grades Award Letters are sent out. Each LSU Instructor of Record will have more specific information per semester.
None. LSU will purge all record of the student’s attempt in each Choice course if the student refuses the LSU credit.
Students can obtain their LSU transcript by going to LSU transcript Request and following the instructions there to order a transcript.
