International Experience

Gain a global perspective through international study.

Our world is shrinking. Technology allows companies to build functional teams across continents, not just cubicles. Study abroad options offered through OBSS International Experience expand your worldview. Participants come home with much more than souvenirs; these experiences provide independence, resilience, and flexibility. In a competitive job market, international experience can help you stand out from other candidates.

OBSS International Experience offers a variety of options; in most cases, students can earn course credits.

International Business Seminars

These short programs are offered during winter and summer break. Participating students can earn upper-level business credit. Seminars are faculty-led, sometimes by Ourso College professors.

Exchange Programs

Students can participate in semester- or year-long academic national or international exchange programs. Classes are taught in English, and students can choose from various business courses. The program is ideal for those entering their junior year in the fall. International exchange program locations include Otto von Guericke University and Radboud University. In most cases, students who exchange through an LSU-sponsored program can pay LSU tuition while using TOPS and other financial aid or scholarships.
