Graduate Student Retreat
The 2025 CBS Retreat took place at LSU Vet Med. All CBS faculty, graduate students, postdocs, and staff were in attendance. The retreat was Halloween-themed, with Halloween decorations covering the room. Dr. Michael Graziano and Dr. Cyril Clarke were the guests of honor. Dr. Wentao Li, an alumnus of LSU in Dr. Shisheng Li’s lab, was the guest speaker.
There were oral and poster presentations during the event. Best oral presentation was awarded to Angel Casillo. Hafsa Haq, Nicole Akers, and Martha Schwall each won a best poster presentation award.
There was also a costume contest for faculty and students.
