The LSU College of Humanities & Social Sciences and the LSU Law Center are hosting Geaux Pre-Law Week on Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15, 2024. All LSU students are welcome to attend Geaux Pre-Law Week activities to learn more about law school admissions, the HSS 3+3 Pre-Law program, and how to prepare for success in applying to and enrolling in law school.

Monday, November 11

Law School Information Fair
Royal Cotillion Ballroom-250 LSU Student Union
10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Undergraduate students interested in law will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from over 60 different law schools from around the country. Talk with admissions representatives from your law schools of interest and find out what they are looking for in their top law school applicants.

Get an in-depth look at the First Circuit Court of Appeal, which includes a tour and visits with Judge Hester and other circuit judges.

Writing a personal statement may seem like the most challenging task in the application process. To write a statement that will help win a seat in the law program of your choice, you need to think like a member of the admissions committee. During this workshop, participants will:

  • Identify how to effectively tell their story through reflection and pre-writing activities.
