Biography
Dr. Beth Hyatt is an Instructor at Louisiana State University. She served as managing editor for the academic journal Human Resource Development Review, supporting her commitment to understanding and addressing contemporary workforce challenges through research. She has held various leadership roles throughout her career in the hospitality sector and is a SHRM-CP certified human resource professional.
Her research interests include work-life balance, employee engagement, training and development, and leadership. Her dissertation on work-life balance was awarded second runner-up for the Esworthy Malcolm S. Knowles Dissertation of the Year Award from the Academy of Human Resource Development.
Dr. Hyatt holds a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Tyler, an MBA from Texas Tech University, and a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
